Welcome, members & guests to the Tampa Bay Asian Golf Association portal. As we adopt our new motto promoting “FUN, FRIENDLY & FAIR COMPETITION”, the 3 F’s are important as we foster our members and guests to this friendly game. Make it enjoyable and FUN… WE are among FRIENDS, and lastly we assure you this will be a FAIR competition for all handicap levels.

Overview: event details, members/guests' policy

15 Rounds of play, with 3 Rounds of Playoff

• • • Each event winner is awarded with the traveling trophy to take home and showcase to their family.

    • An Event Winner receives a hat embroidered and

    • Prize payout according to our payout structure.

    • Groupings or Pairings shall be based according to the current leaderboard points ranking.

Points Award

• • • Points are awarded by each event accordingly to the placement. Points are accumulated for the season end payout.

    • KINGS’ CUP TEAM- Top 22 members, point earners will automatically be selected to the KINGS’ CUP roster.

      • • Captains Pick: 2 members

        • Top 2 point earners, will be designated as co-Captains for the KINGS’ CUP. (TBD)

        • Prior year's League Champ designated as Team Captains. (TBD)

• • Individual Stroke:

    • $20 - Course Net Score Prize Pool

    • $10 Member Fee

      • Proximity Contest include (*4 CTP, 2 Long Drive/Putts- #9 & #18. Each is worth $20 payout)

    • $20 - Birdie Skin - Optional

  • 2 Person Team Challenge: Choose a partner or we will give you a blind partner.

    • $10 PP- Optional Overall Course Net Score

      • 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place *Overall Team Low Net

      • Defending Team keeps their partner

Membership

All Members will have priority over guest player for an event registration. Guest players can register however will be considered on a waiting list until a spot becomes available.

Member Fee

• • • • $10 Member Fee are collected per event to keep our league fees as minimum as possible so our members can choose and pick to play an event that aligns with their family schedule.

      • Fees collected are used accordingly and to help the administrative cost and other miscellaneous items as deemed appropriate by TBAGA committee.

      • Fees are also part of the season end payout structure

Member Violation

• • • ***Members that do not participate in TheGrint live rounds or post final score will NOT be eligible for payouts. All Members MUST have TheGrint to participate in league events.

    • ***Members violating any HCI shall be dealt with on a base by base including being banned for the remainder of the season. This is strictly enforced to keep the honesty and integrity of our organization as TBAGA. See Rules and Bylaws for more details.

Guest Player

• • • Guest players will NOT be eligible for event payouts.

    • Guest player can become member with a valid TheGrint handicap with more than 54 holes played.

    • Guest players will be considered on a waiting list until a spot is available for the event.

Cancellation Policy

• • • Members/Guests are responsible for any charges (Green Fees) for last minute cancellation.

      • Repeat offenders will be imposed pre-payment prior to registering for a spot for an event.

      • Cancellation request 24 hours before an event is acceptable.

Communication

• • • Members are communicated via text messages and through "What's APP".

    • The use of "What's APP" is highly recommended for ease of communication.

RAIN POLICY: Unless the course is deemed unplayable, or there are dangerous conditions, the event will be played. A tournament official will contact you if the event is called off before the start. If the entire field completes 9 holes, the tournament will be official. If the event is called off due to weather the tour will reschedule.
